Na konci 19. století bylo město Lodz textilní mocností Střední Evropy. S koncem Studené války však přišly změny, které vyústily v pád města. Tisíce zkušených dělníků ztratilo práci, do které vkládali celou svoji duši. Historie města Detroit se zopakovala v Evropě… Ulice však žily dál a zkušenosti v lidech přežily do dnes. Backyard Cartel je tu, aby opět umožnil lidem předvést jejich zkušenosti a dobře odvedenou týmovou práci. Krejčí, švadleny, mistři svých řemesel, skladníci, řidiči a prodavači – ti všichni tvoří rodinu Backyard Cartel (zkráceně BYC), poháněnou vášní k řemeslu, profesionálními službami a světlou budoucností. BYC je vyrobeno tady. Na našem vlastním dvorku. Je vyrobeno v Evropě.
