Big Bad GOORIN - FW26 - collection overview

Goorin gives every animal on a patch a word that turns it into a character: the rottweiler is BAD BOY, the goat is G.O.A.T. and the koala on corduroy is simply DOPE. The fall drop has over a hundred caps and every pack in it is a whole crew, from a western gang in wool to a British pub in plaid. We go through all of them in the video, and below it you'll find each crew together.

A suede brim on a cream trucker, and under it personalities that contrast nicely with the soft suede. The G.O.A.T. goat stands for Greatest Of All Time, and at the same time it's simply a goat. Then there's the tireless eagle RELENTLESS, the snake VICIOUS and the dachshund SHADOW, who will follow you like a shadow, the way only dachshunds can.

Canyon is a western with the full cast. The horse FREE SPIRIT is exactly that, the black stallion GAMBLER plays cards, the bull ROWDY loves a fight and the snake OUTLAW is the one the sheriff is after. And the deer BAE? Deer sounds just like dear, so it's the sweetheart of the whole crew. A wool-blend front with a desert pattern and zigzag stitching on the brim look like a blanket thrown over a saddle.

The light Pinstripe has stripes like a baseball jersey, and Goorin loves a sports reference. The cast fits: the G.O.A.T. goat as the greatest player of all time, the lion KING and the wolf LONE WOLF, who plays by his own rules. In green, cream and navy.

Faux Leather is the security at the door. The rottweiler BAD BOY, the doberman BEWARE like a "Beware of the dog" sign, and the lioness BOSS, who decides who gets in. The faux leather suits them like a bouncer's jacket.

Corduroy makes you think of work pants, and Goorin sent the tough guys onto it: the rhino TUFF, the bison GRIT, the snake BOSS and the dog TOP DOG, leader of the pack. Among them sits a koala with DOPE written on it, who clearly showed up at a different party. In mustard, olive, chocolate and black.

Velour is a fabric for the evening, and the cast matches: the gorilla BOSS, the swan LOVER and the unicorn LEGEND. Swans stay with one partner for years, and a unicorn is a legend by definition. In turquoise, burgundy and black they shine like a party blazer.

Dark denim like a rocker jacket, plus a "wanted" poster: the scorpion WANTED, the eagle RELENTLESS and the skull CANCELLED, which the internet cancelled long ago. The beige mesh at the back softens the toughness a little.

Light denim and a crew with one cuddler and two crazies. The teddy bear CUDDLY wants a hug, the squirrel NUTS is nuts in both senses of the word, and the raccoon DEGEN is your buddy for late-night trips to the trash cans.

The Brit pack speaks British. The French bulldog is DODGY, a shady type, the doberman is a BLOKE, just a regular guy from next door, and the duck looks CHEEKY. And the BLACK SHEEP needs no introduction. Everything is made of plaid fabric with wool, just right for a British pub.

The animals in the Migration pack don't fit inside their patches. The frog BUGGIN, the tiger FIERCE, the ibex BUTT HEAD, the cat OOPS and the fish PRO climb out of their frames as if they were just moving somewhere else. The two-tone caps are 55 % recycled polyester, so the material has been through its own migration too.

Black Out is all black and a little scary: the spider POISON, the scorpion DEADLY with a suede front, and a lion. Joining them is the chicken HOT. Hot means both spicy and sexy, and English lets you pick.

Circle Of Life is the song from The Lion King about how everything in nature holds together. Goorin put the wolf LONER, a lone wanderer, the snake VICIOUS and the lizard COLD BLOODED, cold-blooded by nature and by biology, into that circle. The circle of life for those who'd rather walk alone.
