PROOF FABRIC

• The outer fabrics of Proof products are waterproof and have a water column of 13,000 mm. During the manufacturing process, they are carefully treated on both sides with a water-based coating. However, with very heavy exposure to water, moisture may penetrate through seams and zippers; therefore, these products are not called waterproof but water-repellent.

• PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) is a large group of chemicals that do not occur naturally and therefore degrade very slowly or are not biodegradable at all. Due to their water-repellent properties, these harmful chemicals are often used in the textile industry, especially for products designed for outdoor use and they enter our system through air and water.
