PROOF FABRIC

• The outer fabrics of Proof products are waterproof with a 13,000 mm water column. During manufacturing they're carefully treated on both sides with a water-based coating. Under very heavy water exposure, though, moisture can still get in through seams and zippers, which is why we call these products water-repellent rather than waterproof.

Recycled PET

• We use fabrics made with a 50%-100% share of recycled PET bottles. Recycling means less waste and reduced consumption of natural resources like water and CO2. This significantly cuts down on unnecessary environmental pollution.

PFC-free

• PFCs (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals) are a large group of chemicals that don't occur naturally and therefore take a long time to break down, or don't break down at all. Because of their water-repelling properties, these harmful chemicals are commonly used in the textile industry, especially for outdoor products, and they enter our system through air and water.
