New Era
New Era je rodinná firma, která začala v roce 1920 výrobou klobouků. V roce 1934 získala rodina z Buffala zakázku na baseballové kšiltovky pro tým Cleveland Indians, a tak se začíná psát novodobá historie značky New Era, merchandisingu, a kšiltovek.
V 50. letech New Era představila siluetu 59FIFTY, která se stala součástí baseballové uniformy nejvyšší národní ligy MLB, a je jí dodnes. To vše v době, kdy byste na ulici člověka v baseballce nepotkali. Nebylo to zvykem. Kšiltovky patřily na stadion. Až jisté události v 80. a 90. letech způsobily, že baseballky začali nosit fanoušci v ulicích a lidé v zemích, kde baseball ani zdaleka nepatří mezi národní sporty.
