The year 1947 marks a milestone in the lives of brothers Arthur and Henry D’Angelo. The twins and Italian immigrants founded Twins Enterprises, now a company known as '47 Brand.
The brothers were entrepreneurs who quickly saw the future in licensing fan merchandise.
They started by selling pennants in front of the city stadium and thanks to hard work, listening to their instincts, and incredible enthusiasm, they grew from a street stall into a premium lifestyle clothing and accessories brand connecting sports and style.
'47 Brand today reminds with every product the promise the brothers made over 70 years ago: To give fans caps with uncompromisingly crafted details and perfect workmanship. And this is important to us too!
The brand is a partner of the major leagues MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA and cooperates with more than 650 colleges in the USA. Besides caps, it now also produces other sports equipment with team logos of these leagues.
